Apple Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 lbs center cut pork chops
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups apple juice
  • 4 Fuji apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/4 cup flour, salt, mustard, and pepper. Coat chops in flour mixture, brown in butter, remove chops.
  2. Stir 2 tbsp flour and brown sugar into drippings to make a thick paste. Gradually stir in apple juice.
  3. Cook and stir until blended and mixture becomes thick (bring to a boil).
  4. Pour sauce into large measuring cup and set aside. Place chops back into pot, cover with sliced apples and raisins.
  5. Pour sauce over top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45–50 minutes.
