Rice Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1.75 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rice crispy cereal
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Mix together dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. Combine butter and sugars, and beat until blended. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
  3. Add dry ingredients, mixing until combined. Stir in cereal and chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes. Don't over bake.
  5. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt right out of the oven.
