Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage in saucepan.
  2. Add butter and stir until melted.
  3. Add flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Slowly add in milk and let it simmer, continuing to cook until thickened.
  5. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Serve over biscuits.
