
Stovetop Chicken Teriyaki
Classic teriyaki chicken cooked on the stovetop in a savory-sweet soy sauce glaze, served over rice.

Instructions
Wash and pat chicken dry. Cook in skillet with chicken broth or water.
Meanwhile, whisk soy sauce, sugar, mirin, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch in small bowl.
Remove chicken and slice. Pour off fat from skillet.
Rewhisk soy mixture, add to skillet and bring to simmer over medium heat.

Return sliced chicken and juices to skillet, turn to coat. Simmer until sauce is thick and glossy, about 3 minutes.

Serve with rice and top with sauce.
